New York is known for its Adirondack Park, that still has expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees, and where such forests house a number of endangered animal species.

A- that still has expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees, and where - which is used to describe additional information i.e a modifier after a comma. That is incorrect usage in this case
B- which still has expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees; - Distorts the intended meaning by introducing a separate clause
C- which still has expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees, where- Where in the second part ends up describing trees instead of the park
D- where still expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees, and- Parallelism error
E-where there are still expansive forests of deciduous and coniferous trees, and where- Correct, maintains parallelism (where there are... and where such forests..)
