- i think i could get rather decent recommendations and score well on GMAT, although i haven't taken it yet.
- i think my diverse background is a PRO, but my low GPA is a CON
- overall i was not focused and not very motivated in undergrad resulting in low GPA. since then i have chose a clear path for my career and future and i am highly regarded in my job and considered a high potential and a strong leader. currently live in atlanta but would be willing to move if accepted to a top 10 or even top 20 school.
what do you think my chances are of getting into a top MBA program?
thanks!
It would be difficult to get in a top 20 school. Your work experience lacks client facing roles, nor does it seem highly analytical - two of the more important traits top tier b-school look for. I feel that your chance at a top 20-30 school hinges on your GMAT score. If you can get a 720+ on your GMAT, I think your chances are good at Emory.
Good luck
