Took the GMAT and scored a 680, 90% (Q45,77%, V38,85%). I felt both sections were pretty tough. I am pleased with my absolute quant score, but the percentile seems low. My verbal seems the exact opposite. Yet I still landed 90%tile overall. I am hoping to get into a top program. Should I retake the test? I felt my essays were great, so will this make up for a low individuals scores? Will schools care more about the indiv sections scores or the overall score? Just looking for some help to decide if I retake or not. \$250 is no joke. Thanks peeps.

Hey dude, I'm in the same boat, but reverse (score wise). I got a 660, am applying to top schools, and am going to retake the GMAT (hesitantly). I easily got 96th percentile in verbal, but by math sucks. I got a 37 in this area. I'm more than happy to help you out in the verbal, which comes naturally to me, if you want to study for the quant together.

That goes for anyone else, too.
