Exactly why I posted the articles here instead of bschool life sub-forum or Admitted HBS Students thread....

RCs Tomo and Taka share their romantic tale.

"Taka: December 26. I asked her to go out with me right after finals, but she said she wanted to think about it, and because my flight got cancelled due to the snow, I was stranded in Boston alone. We met again in Japan and she said yes."

Awwww!!!! How romantic!!!

I have a question: which school has the best stats in terms of their students tying the knot?

probably have good alumni connections that way!

Wouldn't the better metric be highest % of students marrying students/alums from *other* top bschools? As a student, you're already tapped into your own school network so marrying a fellow student doesn't help your connections at all. I'd look for places with 2 top schools located in close proximity: HBS/MIT, Kellogg/Booth, CBS/NYU.

Honestly, most women are looking for a "good guy," as the previous poster said. The definition of a "good guy" isn't always a rich guy. Most women think that as long as you enjoy and are good at what you do, then they would consider you successful. Besides, why would you want a woman who's only interested in your money? Furthermore, if she's also in b-school, chances are she might make more money than you do 10 years down the road. Just my $0.02.

Airports drive me nuts. Pick-up attempts when you get your ticket, pick-up attempts when you go through security, pick-up attempts when you board, pick-up attempts at your seat!

Personally, I've never tried to "pick up" girls at an airport. I mean, why would you? You're only in the same terminal for 1-2 hours (more if you're really unlucky), and then you'll be in separate cities with thousands of miles in between.

Trust me, guys. Let her do the talking. She will if she's interested. And no, it doesn't matter if you're at H/S/W. The women worth having don't care.

Also very true. If a girl wasn't interested to begin with, there's pretty much nothing you can do to change her mind. If a girl is interested, she will let you know, and you would have to be a knucklehead not to notice. It's simple as that. But again, it's always easier said than done, and women will make sure that they remain a mystery for the rest of eternity.

A friend of mine just got engaged to a classmate of ours...it happens. I know a few others who will be moving in together after graduation.

Sounds just about perfect to me, I mean how much time do you really need?

To be clear: that was a joke.

That's true. Becoming spouses shouldn't take that long. The average wedding ceremony might last an hour and a half but really the vows take less than 20 minutes. And if you cut out the dramatic sighs and deep soul-searching stares, you could each say your vow in under a minute easy. Throw in some time for the presiding officer to do his thing -- and double it for him/her/it to divorce you. Honestly, I don't see why you couldn't get married at least 20 or 30 times in an hour or two.
