It seems the OA is incorrectly mentioned as C when in fact it should be B.
Can some expert please confirm.

Is 'the' most can be the criteria to elimate choices?

Your question is not clear. A superlative adjective always requires "the", and hence "the most" can never be a criterion for elimination. Could you elaborate what your query is?

Sir daagh

Can you touch base on more & most for these 2 options keeping in mind the probability? Also in general sentences.

(B) is probably the most difficult to analyze
(D) is probably the more difficult to analyze

The word ‘all’ refers to more than two and several in general; if there are only two factors involved then we must call them as ‘both’ rather than 'all'.
Point 2 is that, ‘more’ is used only when two factors are involved. ‘The most' is used when more than two are involved. I do not think the adverb ‘probably’ plays a role in choosing between ‘the more’ and ‘the most’.

In GMAT Maybe should be avoided. If that's the case then we have two options.
D. is probably the more difficult to analyze -- here the before more is not correct as more is used to compare between two and so the can't be there.
Which leaves us with option B -- Now B is having probably which is good and the most which talks about certain particular thing (an adverse change).

If I am wrong please correct me.

If found helpful. #Kudos

a. ‘the more’ is wrong; ‘the most’ is correct. ‘difficult’ must be followed by ’to’
b. Correct
c. ‘difficult’ must be followed by ’to’
d. ‘the more’ is wrong; ‘The most’ is correct.
e. We don’t need ‘the analysis that’. ‘it’ is unclear.
