we should do a tourney, and whoever wins automatically gets the best GMAT test taker here to take the test for them.

The NCAA tournament is a huge event, and it is a great excuse to take off early from work for a few days.

Oh yeah, my office goes crazy. On top of the usual pool, we have the big screen in our conference room showing all the games. Luckily for me I'm right next to this room :-D

March Madness is one of my favorite times of the year. I went to Vegas last year for the first round of games and I am going again this year as well, it is by far the most fun I have when I go to Vegas.

I already took the 16th off work so I can watch the games - I plan to crack open my first beer around 11:00 AM.

With St. Patty's Day on the 17th, it figures to be a wild weekend.

I know the seeds don't come out for about a week, but you're crazy if UCLA isn't bracketed in your Final 4

Nothing is crazy that is why it is called March MADNESS!!!! Although I have to admit UCLA seems to have all the pieces this year. However, the way Maryland is playing right now, I would say they can beat anyone at the moment! :-D

Definitely UCLA is my favorite, I got a good value bet on them at 12-1 to win the tournament. Also I have two "darkhorses" although they really aren't in Texas and Texas A&M I can see both of them making deep runs.

I'm with you as Texas as a dark horse. However a 4 seed really isnt too huge of a surprise to run deep!

I see Texas making a deep run. Superstars always seem to carry their teams in the tourney.

Oh, Rhyme, you should definitely join the pool. A few years ago a guy in G's lab got involved. He's from Venezuela and knows jack about basketball. Anyway, he won the whole damn thing, even though about halfway through the tournament he asks me, "These numbers, next to team names....what are they?"

(For the uninitiated: those numbers would be the tournament rankings. A little hint: if you have a #1 team versus the #16, chances are pretty good that #16 is going down. Just an FYI.)

I don't pay attention to the rankings either because they get in the way of my themed brackets. Last year, one bracket's theme was "Heartland4Eva" and it had Iowa and Wisconsin going head to head in the championship game. Oddly, it didn't win.
