hello GMAT clubbers,

After 2 months of concept learning, I am doing the OG2 V and OG2 Q. My performance is a bit over my expectation and I can answer 9 questions right out of ten in any of the OG2's. And I choose the questions randomly from both bigger numbers and smaller ones (I found weak correlation with question difficulty and question number, however). My question is that are OG2's significantly easier that OG 12? I haven't yet started OG 12 and wonder if I can have the same hit ratio there. Can you compare the difficulty level please?

For me the smaller books were easier. Especially the Verbal one.

I too felt like the OG 2 guides had mostly easy and medium level difficulty questions, whereas the OG12 has easy, moderate, and difficult questions.

The OG Verbal and OG Quant books have a larger proportion of easy level questions compared to OG 12. This is especially true for OG Verbal, which needs revision.

I wouldn't worry about this issue too much, though. The supplementary verbal and quant books serve as a decent introduction to GMAT questions. Once those two books are completed, it's time to move on to the OG 12.

If you still require further question practice after the OG series, look into the GMATClub tests for math and LSAT sources for RC and LR (CR).
