Old GMAT Prep vs. New GMAT prep - worth taking both? [#permalink]

Hi all,

I know the new GMAT Prep just came out with the 2 CAT exams. Is it worth doing both the old GMAT Prep AND the new GMAT Prep?

Not even sure where to download the old one at this point.

Also, can anyone point me to the link where it describes where to get more than 2 exams out of the GMAT Prep (even though it skews the actual score).

Thanks so much

BB, thanks so much for the quick response. I looked through the thread but didn't see if it would be worth taking both. Are there any question overlaps? Thanks again.

Sorry, there is 100% overlap between the new GMAT Prep and Old GMAT Prep.

You can buy additional questions for the GMATPrep but you can only use those for the exercises/quizzes.

Sorry to hijack the thread…

I did a quick search on the forums but I couldn’t find a definite answer. I was wondering if the bug has been patched on the new GMAT Prep program. People were saying that they received single digit quant and verbal scores when the program was first released. Is this still the case?

No, if you download it today, that problem has been corrected. The problem was the way it scored IR, not math and verbal.

@mohater - are you sure it's just the IR section that was scored incorrectly ? I thought it was scoring the quant section incorrectly

Also where can I get the old GMAT prep software ? I'm taking the test before June so i want to have two essays in my tests
