GMAT 760, BA Economics in 1991, BS Electrical Engineering in 1995. Undergrad GPA 3.16 from regional state universities in MI. Working full-time since 1991 except for 2 years spent pursuing EE, currently living in Detroit area.
Work experience includes stints as quality engineer, quality manager, reliability/validation engineer, warranty engineer in the automotive industry.
The obvious choice is pursuing an evening program through University of Michigan.
Anyone care to comment on my odds of being accepted at Michigan? Is my work experience going to be viewed as a positive or negative? How badly will my undergrad GPA haunt me after 14 years?
Assuming I'd move if I were admitted into a top program, what are my chances being admitted into an "elite" program in some other part of the country?
Thanks.
