Avg. number of videos uploaded in March 2017 = 5000
Avg. time of each video uploaded in March 2017 = 15 mins
Avg. number of videos uploaded in April 2017 = ?

St1: Overall time duration in April 2017 = (5000 * 15 * 0.8) mins
But we do not know the avg. time per video.
Not Sufficient

St2: Avg. time per video in April 2017 = 20 mins
We do not know the overall time duration.
Not Sufficient

Combining St1 and St2, we have: Avg number of videos uploaded in April 2017 per day = (5000 * 15 * 0.8)/(20)
Sufficient

[quote="amanvermagmat"]On a certain website an average of 5000 videos were uploaded daily in the month of March 2017, and the average duration per video for the month of March 2017 was 15 minutes. What is the average number of videos uploaded per day on this website in the month of April 2017.

(1) Overall time duration of all videos combined posted in April 2017 was 20% less than that of March 2017.

(2) Average duration per video for the videos uploaded in April 2017 was 20 minutes.

Statement 1: We have March data to get average duration by calculating (5000*15= 75000 min Total Duration) and given 20% less than so approx. we wil have 60000min in April. (not enough)

Statement 2: only one condition from which we cant derive the actual output.
By combining both the statements we can get the avg no of videos uploaded per month from which we can derive avg videos uploaded per day.

60000 min from ST 1 and avg duration per video was 20 minutes = 60000/20 = 6000 videos per month = 6000/31 videos per day

On a certain website an average of 5000 videos were uploaded daily in the month of March 2017. So there is no need to divide by 30. Also other corrections in red

60000 min from ST 1 and avg duration per video was 20 minutes = 60000/20 = 3000 videos per month = 6000/30 videos per day
