tk seems currency of some nation
Total cost of x pen @ 7tk= x*7=7x
Tost cost of 2x pen @10tk = 2x*10=20x

Loss = 720= Buy Price - sell Price
Sell price = 96/dozen= 96/12=8/pen
total pen bought = 3x (x@7 & 2x@10)
hence 720 = (7x+20x)-8*3x=3x
hence x= 240
