One of the main problems for me with verbal is that I do not understand the meaning for some of the words and try to understand it from the context and the sentences around it. I am trying to refer dictionary for some of the words. Is there a list of complex words that appear most commonly in GMAT with meanings somewhere in this forum. It would really help me.

Please refer me to such a thread as I could not find it.

I am also working on my vocab improvement. Therefore, I am searching for an online tool that can help me.

Can some one help me find a site where I can read a novel online and I get to see the meanings of difficult words on the same page.

The reason that I badly need this tool is, when I try to read a novel, article and I am faced with words which I dont understand I am required to go to google and search them. Many times I get drifted to facebook, twitter etc. This affects my preparation very badly. I know Its my bad that I get drifted but still If there is some site which provides this feature, it would be worth looking for.

Regards

You may want to refer to a Comprehensive Vocabulary list prepared by 'QDS Pro - Fastest 24 x 7 Online Doubt Solving Platform'. They have prepared a GMAT-specific Vocabulary list for all the important words starting from all the letters A - Z.

You may sign up for free on QDS Pro platform and access the Verbal Study Material, wherein you will get all the files starting from Vocabulary Words A and going right upto Vocabulary Words Z.

However, if you are not comfortable learning the words directly, you may refer to 'Word Power Made Easy - by Norman Lewis'. This books takes an etymological approach, that is it breaks all the words into its roots, prefixes and suffixes. All of this helps us understand the origin of the words and the idea behind them. Additionally, there are multiple drill exercises provided at the end of every section. All of this helps in higher retention of the vocabulary words.

However, the book is limited in its reach in terms of the number of words. On the other hand, QDS Pro will give you access to a much higher number of GMAT-specific vocabulary words. Once you have been through the Vocabulary words from the QDS Pro platform, you would be knowing the meaning of more than 95% of the words that you come across in the Reading Comprehension section of the GMAT Exam. It is absolutely free and very easy to use. You may look up for QDS Pro on Google.

Happy Vocabulary Building!!!
