I think D and A both are correct. Are GMAT questions based on stylistic flaws?

‘than’ is needed for comparison here, so C is gone.

‘as… than’ is incorrect, so E is gone.



‘free of chemicals’ foes not // ‘healthier than’

So, B is gone.



The remaining two are correct, but the ‘is’ at the end of D is redundant, so A is the right option.
