futurembagrad, welcome to the thread !
Why dont you start by sharing your profile and goals.
Thanks waiwai. Sure, here goes:
Male, 27, Indian
GMAT: 700
Background: IT Consulting (surprised?)
Colleges: Oxbridge(applying to Jan rounds), ISB (applied R1)
Post mba goals: Mgmt Consulting. I'm already from consulting background, so that helps. Already do strategies for projects involved in, but would like to go one level above in order to strategise before getting involved with projects.
I just started on my research for these two schools and have visited their websites for most of the information and worldmbatour.com, for comparison purposes. I haven't seen any major differences between the two yet, and am wondering how everybody is deciding/leaning towards one of the two. The one thing I did like about Cambridge was the 4 consulting projects during the academic year which would give real hands-on experience to students. Hoping to find out more from everybody here and contribute to it. Also, are you guys following any other forums for these schools?
Cheers.
EDIT: waiwai, just read your gmat post. Have you applied to ISB yet? Curious why you aren't applying to Oxford, it's a 1 year course too.
