The one I saw on FB(Oxford Saïd Business School - Class of 2012) has only 17 members. That is a very small number after second round results.

FYI: Joanne Webb was also my admission counselor, and I did hear back. You guys should contact admissions to see what happened...seems strange that you didn't hear anything yet. Best of luck!

Are there any Indian admitted folks who are planning to attend the Apr 2nd Welcome event? If yes, what type of visa are you applying for and how long does it take? thanks

Hi Guys,

I was thinking of applying to Oxford and Cambridge in the final rounds and have some queries:

1) How are the chances in R3/R5 ? Is it like US schools where very few seats are left ?
2) The new Visa rule doesn't allow people to stay in UK after graduation. This might be very important as very few people get a job while graduating. I heard that colleges are lobbying against this rule and a possible outcome will come by April. Anyone has some other info on this ?

Thanks for your interest in Cambridge. You still have a chance to get into MBA2011 if you apply in the last round. We don't operate a system whereby there are only very few places in the last round largely because of our very international pool, there are some groups that tend to apply only in the last round.

In terms of the proposed visa changes, the consultation period ended on 31st January and we are waiting for the results of that consultation process. I wrote a piece on this at

THe on-campus interview is 16th May.

I've been waitlisted after interview at the Judge Business School. I'll have to wait till end of May to hear back from the School.

Can someone revert with some useful information about the waitlist converts at JBS from previous years? Does the school follow a ranking order for its waitlisters?

I'd be grateful to receive relevant information.

I was waitlisted in R2 (thanks a lot, Conrad.... :? ). I was told I'd hear by the end of March, but then they ended up inviting me together with R3 for interview in February (thanks, Conrad! :-D ). According to BW, last year JBS had 12 people on the waitlist, from which they accepted 4, so 30%. https://www.businessweek.com/bschools/ra ... ridge.html

Some of you are interested in the Post Study Work visa.
The UK Home Secretary will make an announcement about student visas at 3:30 pm UK time today (22nd March). As part of that announcement, there should be some news about the Post Study Work Visa.
