I have given my GMAT once in June 2011. 660 and 5.0
I am an Indian and my work ex is of 3 years. I am working with a very well known and established MNC in risk management and shipping.
I have completed my Bachelor in Marine engineering from a top Indian University with a CGPA of 9.39/10.
I had applied to only Rotterdam School of management but was rejected due to a low GMAT score.
I wish to do my MBA in operations/supply chain/shipping.
Any advice on choice of schools with my background will be helpful.
I plan to reattempt the GMAT next year if need be.

Other schools with strong programs in Supply Chain Management in which your GMAT score is acceptable (ie., your 660 meets or exceeds their average score) include Texas A&M, Iowa State, Michigan State, Penn State, University of Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse University, Northeastern, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and Clemson. Since your score actually exceeds Rotterdam's average, I do wonder if there was more behind their decision than just your score. Did they actually tell you in your notification letter that this was the reason for their decision?

Hispanic (Born and raised in Latin America. Came to the US at 19) 31 years old at matriculation male/us
5 years work experience
GPA: 3.41 Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech
GMAT 650 (Q47,V33)


College Extracurricular:
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Current Extracurricular:
Habitat for Humanity

Professional Background:
5 years Real Estate Construction Management at multinational construction firm (Excellent recommendations including 1 from a client)

Additional Info:
Avid Volleyball and Baseball player

Goal: I'm looking into strong real estate finance programs, I want to get into Real Estate Finance or Development.

Thank you for the information
RSM actually did say that my GMAT score was low. I was disappointed cos I knew I had a better than average score.
I have made up my mind for a reattempt. Will keep in touch for further advise.

If you are a US citizen, then you will be viewed as a minority applicant, which will put you in a small group of applicants. This will help you tremendously since your GMAT score is on the low side and your age is on the higher side.
Some programs you will want to look into for their strong real estate focus are UCLA, Columbia, USC, Texas A&M, and University of Connecticut.
