I'm a Consortium applicant. Submitted app on 11/14. Received invite today around 3:30CST.

Would you mind sharing the date when the Consortium released your app? Also, when did Stern confirm receipt?

The app was sent over about 3 days after the 11/15 deadline, confirmation from Stern came at the end of November.

Hey batman,

I think I submitted my part of the application and paid the fee in the first week of November. But if I remember correctly, my recommenders did not submit until 11/14 or so.

I submitted on 11/14 (India) so probably 11/13 EST?

Except for this past Wednesday it's been a quiet thread for interviews overall. Did anybody else receive good news? Next week should be a busy one before Adcom goes on break for the holidays...

Yeah- I would suspect that next week will be a little "louder" than this week. That said, if you don't hear back next week I wouldn't expect anything until at least 1/4 given the holidays.

Thanks! I haven't scheduled the interview yet, but I'll probably aim for the second week of January.

I'm actually not from NYC nor am I an I-Banker. Here's the most general version of my stats (let me know if I'm missing something):
- 3.35 GPA from Midwest State school
- Currently have 3 years of WE @ diversified financial services F500 in Treasury group
- GMAT: 760 (Q49,V45)
- ECs: Significant in undergrad and even more significant post-grad.

How does it work once you have received the invite? Are there a number of available dates/time slots in January 2012 and then you just pick the one that you prefer? Also, is there only one interview, i.e. international applicants are flying to NYC for 45 minutes of action?

You got it; interviews are Monday-Thursday. I think some Int. candidates have the option of interviewing overseas or by phone- something like that, but don't quote me!

There are interviews that will be held in the UK, China and India, but not until March. whereas the NYC interviews end sometime early-Feb. Hope this helps?

yes, invited to interview...finally! email received today at 12:29 pm pst. was invited to interview on thurs. feb 2nd and to participate in the annual stern women in business (swib) conference the following day.

sorry, here are my dates:
i mailed my essay 3 files 11/12, which were delivered on 11/17, and i got the email confirming they received my app 11/18, but i completed my online application on 11/12.
also got an email inviting me to the mesa trek on 12/12.

I submitted my app on Nov. 14. My recs were in a few days before. I received the email from stern saying they received my app on Nov. 23rd. Let me know if you need anything else.

I applied about a week before the deadline. I interviewed last Monday. I'm shocked I heard back this early. I was planning on early January.

congrats! i really hope i'm not at a disadvantage (both admissions and scholarships-wise) because i'm interviewing so late. they invited me to interview and participate in their women's conference but that's not until february!
