I get the feeling I am the only person posting on here but just in case... During my interview the Admissions Director mentioned that they might release decisions on a rolling basis before January 15. Anyone hear anything like that or receive a decision already?

I applied for the Part Time program in R2, and I was admitted today, so I'm happy. Decision deadline day was supposed to be on Tuesday, but I'm glad the adcom didn't keep guys hanging if they knew we were in.

Hello guys,

I received an admit with scholarship few days back. Has anyone contacted current students/alumni of the school to get feedback of the program. I would like to know your views on the decreasing rankings of Smith in recent years.

The word around town is that Smith is focused most heavily toward IT strategy and entrepreneurship. I can't really say why its rankings have dropped in recent years as a full time program though the full time program is not that large there.

Hi Guys,
I am Punit, I applied in R3 and have been offered admission.

I am thinking of taking it up, but only one thing that bothers me is heavy international student presence, even I myself am from India.

Is this a good or a bad thing.

Any perspective on this will be helpful..

Most full time programs have a very large international presence as opposed to other graduate schools and general undergraduate college populations. Many business schools have a third of their students coming from another country, while law schools and most non-technical graduate school programs in the US rarely have an international population over 10%.
