Hi All - FYI, I just got the email for an interview. Round 3 applicant, submitted on 3/12. So took 1 week to get a call! I scheduled the interview for this Friday, 3/23!

Congrats! I see your GMAT date is on the 27th. Have you taken it before or will it be your first time?

I just noticed that there is now a 4th round open for applications (something which wasn't there before) with an application deadline of May 1. However, applicants from both Round 3 and 4 will be notified on June 1. Just wondering how this would affect the round 3 applicants. Does this mean they dont have enough applications?

They did this last year as well. Opened up a 4th round late in the application process. FEMBA UCLA did so as well. I think part time programs add a 4th round late in the application process for 2 reasons
1) working professionals not having sufficient time to put together an application
2) full time applicants who didn't get into universities of their choice may consider part time programs

Sadly, a 4th round just makes the application process more competitive since there are now more applicants for the adcom to choose from

It's probably also one of the reasons Haas EWMBA's admission rate is under 50% unlike all other part time programs.

If they don't have time to complete their application will they have time to attend class and be a productive member of a group? It's true that you can manipulate any set of data to make it look good in your favor. The head of Haas did come from Goldman-Sachs.

Have been lurking for a while, and I have found this discussion to be very useful. So, I guess it is my time to throw the hat in the ring.

I applied in R3 on March 15th, and barely made it in time with 45 minutes to spare :) My profile is thus: Work experience of ~7 years (by August 2012) in a top-tech company in the US; Out of state candidate; GMAT 730; PhD in Computer Engineering;

Am hopeful that I will get a call for interview soon. It will great if you all can share your profile, so that we know what they are looking for.

Welcome muxtheic!

So it seems like only one interview invite so far? Anybody else receive an invite?

The wait is over. Got in Stanford with $$ and a private scholarship. It makes the Haas June 1 decision date so much easier to live with.

I got a R3 invite but the dates are lacking. Will consider Haas if I get a weekend cohort even with a Stanford admit in hand. Thanks for the comments.

Any R1 or R2 applicants interview with Britta Narum? Any feedback to provide?

R2 applicant...interviewed with Courtney Chandler....very straight-forward and to-the-point....lasted 35-40 mins. Some of the other interviews I had (at other B-schools) were more conversational...this one was like a tern Q&A session. Anyway, hope Britta was better as an interviewer?

Submitted 2/13/12 along with my recommenders and invited for an interview 3/19/12. Are the interviewers really part of Adcom? Don't see their names on the official Haas adcom webpage.

Yes, interviewers are part of Adcom and may not necessarily be on the official AdCom webpage. My interviewer (Rd2) was a 3rd yr student and also working in the AdCom.
