Re: Does Level 1 CFA make up for poor GMAT? [#permalink]
Thanks for both responses...

What I expected, to be honest. I am taking it again (11/21), I just took a Kaplan practice exam and scored a 600. I blew the first GMAT exam off and it clearly shows. I ran out of time on Quant and guessed on the last 5 and I know that killed me.

Appreciate you guys commenting, though!

Thanks for the congrats on the CFA - I honestly found studying for that much easier than the GMAT because it was practical and more enjoyable.

Well, I took the GMAT again... still not great. Scored a 600. Currently waitlisted at Vanderbilt. Taking the GMAT one more time, ideally to break above the 650 range. We'll see...

I think you should just retake the GMAT and then worry about it

Yep, a lot of people have trouble with the GMAT on the first go-around especially with very little prep work done. I think if you put in the time to study, you'll see big strides in your score, which will definitely help you out with the likes of Vanderbilt
