CountOlaf, Sanjuro9, I say we join hands to prep for the interviews. How are you guys starting out. Have the veterans (R1, R2 admits) given any advice yet?

Hello CountOlaf,

The application status will just read as submitted (It still reads submitted for me after being admitted!) You will receive an email from the admissions office stating that your application is complete. The interview invite as well as the admissions decision will also be communicated via email and both of them are bang on time!

I've submitted my application for round three and I am now
nervously waiting for May 11th...I'll let you know the outcome.
Good luck to all of the R3 candidates...I hope we all meet in Oxford...

Employment report of last year's batch is out. The career opportunities seems to be really good with 90% employed within 3 months after graduation.

nothing much to say, was just imagining countolaf pacing around in his castle and buda punching a big sandbag. as for me, i am just taking turns between sitting on my hands and fidgeting my fingers.

as for lastroundapplicant, he is just taking yet another last round of his home/apartment.

painful waiting for friday, misery if you are dinged, anxiety if you get invited to interview... some more wait and as gctarun said, a wait into perpetuity if you are waitlisted...

Severely doubting everything now.. my essays probably had gaping holes in them.. my gpa probably wasnt good enough... my this was bad, my that was bad.. i have totally lost it.. and am just short of running around biting people... the last one week has been the longest in a long time..

I also just got accepted for the interview. So glad !

Now, the trick is that should I go to Oxford for the interview or not. About 80% I will choose the Skype since I just was in Oxford about 3 weeks ago :).

I really appreciate that you guys can give some advice on the interview on Skype.

Congratulations

Typically candidates in the area, esp. London, are encouraged to drop by. Others, who may have troubles getting visas so soon can go in for Skype. I have official information from the admissions committee that both skype interview and in-person interview are equal. There is no special advantage to being there in person, if you can't make it. I have to go for Skype as I won't get a visa so soon.
