Hey fellow gmatclubbers!
I decided to retake the GMAT (I scored 690 last December) and try my luck with an US-based MBA program once more. I am hoping for a 720+ score, so I am considering applying to top schools and perhaps one or two "safe bets". I would love to study in a major city while getting both quality education and quality social life (I am not exactly the "nerdy" type
). My top picks for this year would be NYU, Columbia (long shots, I know - but they are both in NYC), followed by Wharton, Kellogg and probably Cornell and Carnegie-Mellon. Safe bet so far - Fordham (although it probably sucks - and it is hard to find any reliable info about how the school is).
My question is: which schools in major cities would you pick and why? I live in the Czech republic so the information about social life at schools is pretty limited. Thanks for any feedback!
