Hey,

I am in the same situation as you. I am just getting hammered in IR. 2 &1/2 minutes is just not enough to answer IR questions. I wonder if there is any trick/strategy to get though the IR without messing up. I took a couple of MGMAT CAT exams and the best I could get was a 4. I don't know how similar MGMAT is to the actual test.

I am in the same situation like you guys.
I gave an MGMAT CAT test with IR for the first time yesterday and scored a 0 in IR
Are you guys studying anything besides OG 13 for IR ?

If you aren't already, you can further practice your IR skills here with 100+ questions: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... reasoning/

IR can be tricky - especially some of those two-part and multi source questions that really put your reasoning skills to test. Part of IR is developing an ability to focus only on the areas that matter. Part of it is getting used to the new question types. So get as much practice as you can - but don't let IR psych you out.

Check plenty of helpful resources in IR here: the-next-generation-gmat-gmat-integrated-reasoning-130224.html

Hope it helps.

Hi danziam,

Many Business Schools have publicly stated that they do not consider an applicant's IR score when reviewing an application. As such, you should NOT be too concerned with the IR section. You should still try your best, but you shouldn't expend too much energy or become too stressed out by that section of the GMAT. Since IR does not contribute to your score out of 800, you should adjust your studies and Test Day plans accordingly.
