DOE is proposing free eLearning Modules delivered over the internet to help improve the Science capabilities of middle school US students. DOE claims that it would be possible to engage more students if they are equipped to learn at their own time and pace.
Which of the following choices, if true, strengthens the argument above?
A) The eLearning modules do not cover the entire content that is covered in classes.
B) The eLearning modules will be accessible anytime and anywhere.
C) There are other means of helping students to improve their perfomance in Science such as providing remedial classes etc.
D) The eLearning modules use detailed pictures and movies to explain the concepts.

IMO B

If the modules are accesible all the time, it is assured that people with learning interest will use them upon request. On the contrary, if modules are NOT accesible all of the time, then people can't learn at their own pace.

I'm coming up with (B) as well. The conclusion is not just that students can learn at their own pace but that DOE will "engage more students." Only (B) speaks to this conclusion: if DOE is accessible anywhere and anytime, then it will likely engage more students.

Why can't D be an answer then? Having a content that is more engaging also specifies that DOE will be able to engage more. Will this option not strengthen the argument?

Who said movies and pictures are more engaging ?? From where are you getting these weird ideas ?

The funda is not to engage more students but students learn at there own time and pace that is take as long as they want and study anytime they want to.

Agree with mandyrhtdm here,

You are making the assumption that movies and pictures are more engaging, you should not do this! Try and focus on what has been presented, which is refering to the fact that if students have learning at their own pace and can access modules anywhere and whenever. This helps strenghten the argument.

I will go with B too. :) The argument is to equip the children to learn at their own time and pace. At one time even I got confused with D but as mandyrhtdm has pointed out we must not assume anything form ourself.
