Looking fwd to the announcement of successful R2 applicants... In 10 days from now! Unsure which way mine will go and the suspense may kill me Interviewer #1 loved my story and was quite positive, but interviewer #2 was playing devil's advocate quite a bit (friendly though, but double-edged sword potentially). Watched pot syndrome I suppose, so should just forget about it for a while and leave it to fate! Aargh...

I had the same exact experience with the interviewers... interviewer #1 loved my story, loved my essays, had strong rapport with me, etc. But interviewer #2 was more intense, grilling me on everything and wanting to get deep into my stories. He also gave me a freaking case study where I would writeout my thoughts on the white board... (typical MBB consultant guy i guess).

I just finished both interviews back-to-back in one day. They went very well. Interviewer #1 was a little more intense but the hardest question was name one of your biggest challenges, why & what would you do different. Otherwise the standard why insead, why mba, tell me about your background, etc. although asked in a conversational format not so directly. Advice for any planning to interview mirrors that already said, Be yourself and be comfortable with your answers but don't script them. Definitely have solid questions prepared to ask of your interviewers and be prepared with questions that might apply more to an alumni who graduated 10-15 years ago as well as someone more recent.

WOW just got a call from Carol today and an email - got accepted! I was on the waitlist for about 2 months, R1 applicant. Most nerve breaking experience ever! Hang in there! And good luck to all!!!

Based on R1, I would expect the calls to start coming out any time (that is if summer vacations didn't impact the Admission timelines)

The Deadline is September 7th right? Will notification start going out this week? They started 4 to 5 days before deadline for Round 1.
