Hi Linda,
Hi I would want to work in Asia.. Mostly India, Sgp or HK . I would like to get a placement from campus if not then I will do it on my own ..
I asked because many U.S. investment banks use the GMAT as a screening tool. <700=no interview. I have no idea if that's true in Asia. I also understand that many PE shops don't use the GMAT as a screening tool.
Basically, and I don't think this will surprise you, your work experience, international exposure, and community service are very impressive. Highly competitive at any top program. However, your GMAT is not. It is a major obstacle. Consequently, you hard to assess or predict.
Am I correct that you do NOT want to retake the GMAT? I am not optimistic about your chances at ISB or HKUST with your current score, although the latter is more likely to accept you than ISB.
Best,
Linda
