I found my answer..it was 31st August.

Same question.. So we'll have to submit part 1 within half a month after it's released...?

Guys - Kellogg Application is now live! https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/Pro ... lying.aspx

You can submit the application Part 1 now. For those fully inclined to apply, best to submit this ASAP as its basic information and speeds up your interview assignment.

Cheers!

Hey all ~ I understand that the deadline for scheduling on-campus interviews is Oct. 16th, but does anyone know the latest possible date available for the actual interview slot?

R1 decisions are rendered by Dec. 17th but I imagine that they would stop R1 on-campus interviews a few days (maybe weeks) prior. Does anyone know when that window ends? It would really help in arranging a trip out to Evanston, thanks.

Hi,

Does anyone know the exact format of the recommendation for Kellogg? The recommendation form lists out five questions; when submitting, can recommenders provide a letter-style recommendation or will it need to be divided up to address each of these five questions individually?

Thanks,

If you are in the application the actual format is available under downloadable forms. You can print it out and review.

My secret hope is that it means fewer people are applying and hence hopefully better odds for us!

Does anyone know if off campus interview allocations are made only after submitting part 2 or the interview can be scheduled before submitting part 2 of the application?

The allocation process starts as soon as you submit part 1. The alumni taking your interview have access only to your CV so the part 2 isn't needed prior to scheduling.

Preference given to those who submit part ii earlier as well. Part i going in is absolutely essential to 'ensure' you get an early spot on the scheduling list

Hi All,

I'm reposting this question as I don't believe I worded it correctly originally:

Does anyone know the exact format of the recommendation for Kellogg? The recommendation form lists out five questions; when submitting, can recommenders provide a standard letter-style recommendation or will it need to be divided up to address each of these five questions individually (i.e. will there be five text boxes that require answers to the specific question being asked)?

Specifically, I am wondering whether my recommender can reuse a similar recommendation letter that addresses the questions listed on the Kellogg form, but is otherwise not formatted to reflect the order of Kellogg's questions.

Thanks,
kcw984

I was under the impression that the Kellogg recommendation is online, similar to the student application where recommenders are given a prompt and a text box to answer.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks pyarapopat. What I'm trying to figure out is whether they will be asked on the online form to paste five individual answers (one for each question), or just upload a standard letter-style document.
