HERE I WANT TO POST SOMETHING THAT FUTURE WAITLISTED CANDIDATES OF LBS COULD READ

THE LESSON I LEARNT:

1. Always assume the worst: when in waitlist, always assume you will flunk it. Never ever dream of clearing it some day. The "dream big" part of life ends when you have submitted the application.
2. Always put in your best effort: send updates, resumes, and recommendations. But never assume it will help you through. You are just performing your duty.

LBS waitlist doesnt mean anything. When placed on a waitlist, by default treat it as a rejection. If you get accepted later, good for you.

Exactly man. Its like going to a casino for having fun. You should never ever go to a casino with the hope to make money, not to say with the need to make money. When you enter, by default you write off the money you are willing to bet. If you win - good for you. If not, its just money you spent for having fun.

Hi, all - I was accepted off the waitlist after applying R2. Would be happy to discuss what I did during the waitlist process that may or may not have gotten me in.

Hi! You can count me also as a "waitlister finally admitted" for MBA2015.

Do you know when the offer package will come?

Before Christmas would be just perfect! :-D

I know this is a long shot as your post was from over one year ago, but I was just wait listed today and wondered how you managed this?

I got accepted off the wait list too. There's nothing you did or didn't do wrong. The fact that you are on the wait list only means that there are other candidates with similar profiles slightly better than yours at the moment.
