Hey Arjun,

I don't think it should affect your profile. It's not like you took it 20 times -- 4 isn't completely unheard of! I'd still submit an application to Darden and see what happens.

Best,
Mili

Re: Profile Evaluation [#permalink]
Hi Mili,

I have one quick question, as per my research I have seen that Emory and McCombs are biased towards high GMAT scores when it comes to Indian applicants.
I have not seen a any Indian student below 740 at these schools. Do you think that I should even consider these Schools given my GMAT scores?

I will really appreciate your feedback on this.

Thanks,
Arjun

Hmm that is a good question, Arjun. I can't really give you a definitive answer on whether the schools are actually looking for higher scoring Indian male applicants, but I do think (forgive the broad brush generalization) that the majority of Indian applicants have high GMAT scores as their differentiator. I don't think it's a hard and fast rule here, but I do think it's worth thinking about what your differentiator is going to be (for all the schools, not just Emory or McCombs). I think if you're applying to Darden, etc., then it definitely makes sense to try for these other programs. Sometimes it's not as much work as you think to tack on another school or two. Or, you could choose one of these and pick a safer school to apply to instead of the other one.

Good luck,
Mili
