Emory would be a major stretch for you given your GMAT, even if you have excellent grades and impressive work experience. If you would like me to recommend schools, please see the information I request at what-we-need-for-a-profile-evaluation-107300.html .

Thanks,
Linda

1) Brief description of your full-time work experience ---- Leading team of Managers for the last eight years out of total work ex of 11 years
Industry - Financial services, Functin - Business Development , No international exposure, progression from Sales Trainee to State Head, Many achievements in professional career

2) Your GMAT. - 630

3) College info: Graduation - Bachelors in Business Admin (2000) , Decent GPA , Local Indian University

4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience ---- Involvement with local photography shoot club, conducted workshops

5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA. ---- None

6) Your target programs --- Full time programs only in US, CANADA and Australia

7) Your post-MBA goal --- Ideally, remain in the financial services only, but at the same time am flexible to take move in other industry offering me role in business development

Thanks

Your GMAT is a major hurdle at top full-time MBA programs. Consider Tulane, Santa Clara, Purdue, Zicklin.

For Australia, consider the Melbourne Business School. For Canada, check out Rotman and McGill.

How about AGSM at Australia, is it harder to get in at AGSM than at MBS (Keeping every other factors constant). I learned that AGSM is a better school than MBS

I couldn't find the acceptance rate for MBS. For AGSM it is 49%. The average GMAT for AGSM last year was 650; for MBS it was 660. So they seem pretty similar and perhaps MBS is a little harder to get into. However, I couldn't find a lot of data. We have worked with applicants to both school; we haven't worked with a lot of them.
