It is a pronoun problem. The subject closest to the pronoun is "toy makers" (a person). So "who" is better then "that".

Of B and D, in B when we are talking about "prices", (plural) it should be "that come from", not "comes". So eliminate B.

D is the correct answer. yashii9 is correct.

Also in option C, match "X as well as Y" is an incorrect idiom, the correct idiom is match "X with Y"

Can any one explain the meaning of the sentence. How can "the technical power and flexibility of the computer industry" be matched / brought at same level as "the mass-market prices".

Technical power = market Price ?

Hi,

Can someone help me understand the difference between "who" and "that"?

The book - Doing Grammar - mentions that "that" can replace who, whom.

Consider the following two sentences:

1. This car is meant for drivers who can drive fast.
2. This car is meant for drivers that can drive fast.

Obviously, 1 makes sense.

Can someone from the esteemed community help me understand why?
