For those interested, The Economist magazine is partnering GMAT Tutor in a new app to aid those studying for the GMAT.

Here's the basic scoop:

Nothing new

The Economist is using MasterGMAT. Just a way for them to target new market (economist's readers/mba ranking readers)

However, this thread is asking for opinions of those who have used/plan to use this app.
Did they find it helpful?
Would they recommend it?
How different is it from other similar apps/platforms?

I want to know these things before I recommend this new app to my students.

Hence why I mentioned MasterGMAT because there are plenty reviews of it online

I don't see any apps - the system is compatible for browser access via the Safari/Browser. Or am I missing something?

I don't think it is as interesting as they are trying to make it look. Pass.

Hi All! I just wanted to mention that Economist GMAT Tutor does indeed have an iOS app available free on iTunes:.

It's a great way to study on the go, and you can even learn offline and save your progress.

We also have an Android app coming soon in January 2014. Hope you like it!
