My timeline:
Submitted 8/8, interview invite around 9/12, interview 9/22, feedback submitted 9/25. Admit today!


I did a pretty comprehensive interview debrief a few pages back, won't repeat it here. But just in general, I was pretty surprised that my interviewer was a good deal more formal than most of the others that have been mentioned.

Stats: Female, Asian
GMAT: 770 (49Q, 48V, 8 IR, 6.0 AWA)
GPA: 3.74 from HYP
Work experience: applied to the three-year JD/MBA program, straight from undergrad (but good leadership and entrepreneurial experience in undergrad)

Congrats, Lucy! Did you receive notice that your application was explicitly "complete" after your interview, or did you just receive the "moving into the next phase of review" message?

Just the "moving to next phase" email -- I think it's standard this year after your interview feedback has been received.

Re-posting this inquiry guys: are there any J-term applicants now 3 weeks post-interview still waiting to hear?

It's only been 1 week since my interview results were uploaded but I still can't help but obsessively check my phone hoping for "the call." Sometimes patience is hard to come by.

I hear you, Mappleby. I'm on a similar timeline (report submitted immediately after my interview on 10/13). Every email makes me panic and every phone call makes me giddy.

So I got the call this morning. Needless to say I'm thrilled! Columbia was my first and only choice for business school, and I didn't even apply anywhere else, so I took a big risk.


Apparerently, Columbia tried to call me last week, and I missed it (I found that hard to beleive because I've pretty much had my phone with me everywhere I go but anyway...). So I actually got an email fom the admissions office telling me to call as soon as possible. So I called them back right away not knowing what to expect, and they told me their happy to offer me a spot in next years class!!!

5+ years experience as an entrepreneur/business owner- started my own company (online education) when I was still in college and grew the organization over the past 7 years into a national company with 10+ million in annual revenues.

Work experience: 2 years at a boutique strategy consulting firm and 2 years at a large consulting firm

Hi guys, I'm planning to put in my application are end of Nov beginning Dec. going a bit crazy with all my deadlines coming up one after another with hardly any breathers in between.

Congrats! Now I'm getting really anxious, I was invited on 9/27 and also interviewed on 10/8 with feedback submitted the same day. Hopefully I'll get the call soon too.
