I mean to say that stanford will confirm that it has received all the materials and they are considering your application for round one. Insead gives such a confirmation and other B schools also....

It's all electronic. As long as your app says 'submitted', why do you need further confirmation?

My best guess would be the week after next. Though I'm not sure, do they send out most invites all at once like HBS does, or do they just kind of trickle in?

From what I`ve read, it sounds like they send them out over time, and not in big packets like HBS, and sometimes even a week or so before the final deadline. It would just be interesting to know when the first ones start. But you`re right, it`s probably in a couple of weeks.

There should be another status update/confirmation before the invites as some have asked. According to Stanford Instructions in the application (Application Instructions > Checking and submitting you application) :

Quote:
You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been successfully submitted to the Stanford MBA Admissions Office. We also will post a confirmation to your ApplyYourself online application that your application has been processed and is under review. To check this, log into your ApplyYourself account and review the “Submission Status.” It may take us up to four weeks after the deadline to post this notification. Your application status will remain “Under Review” until final decisions are posted on the round's notification date.

Good luck to you all!

Got it, that`s a good point. So I imagine we shouldn`t expect any interview news before receiving the "under review" email.

Based on the website wording, you might not even get an email. I think we have to check ourselves. *starts refreshing applicant status page* lol

Well one more thing for us to do on the daily round of checking GMAT Club, Poets & Quants, Ding reports from previous years, writing essays for unsubmitted apps...

From what I read on a similar thread last year was that candidates got interview invites without the status changing at all. Anyways I am not hoping for an interview since I have about 7 years of work ex and Stanford tends to take in a much younger crowd
