I'm sure it bears no meaning one way or the other. It would make no sense to send this email only to invitees, rather than just send the interview invitation first.

Yeah, the email shouldnt concern you.. It states, "You are receiving these emails because you recently requested information. If you no longer wish to receive emails from Wharton's MBA Office of Admissions, click here."

I'm pretty sure this exact thing happened last year and I read about it in last year's forum. Ha! People who received it are probably people who at one point or another signed up to receive info from the school, I highly doubt it has anything to do w whether you'll get an interview. I know I definitely signed up to get emails and received the chat invite. I don't know why they would have a chat about application questions for Round 1 since we already submitted a month ago, seems unnecessary.

anyone else not able to get into the chat? It says it is full.. does that mean I have to hope someone leaves in the next 30 minutes before it starts?

None here. However, from information given earlier in this thread, I gather that Wharton might send out invitations in weekly sets, as opposed to daily.

1. I'm a US applicant applying from Mexico, but yes. Note: I'm a Lauder applicant so I think we are notified first.

Full for m e too. They need a bigger chat room ... Or at the very least they should post the chat transcript afterwards.


I think it's simply blocked until right before the chat. Mine says full but "0 users" in the room. Let's keep trying.

I'm not so sure about it being blocked, I remember this happening the last time too unfortunately. I was also in there a few hours ago and it worked fine but here's hoping.

Facing a similar problem here. Its 2 am in the night in India and I am running low on patience. Hope that we can get in to the room in time for the chat.

If that's right then the earliest we should expect a call is Monday, 29th October? Seems unlikely since India interview dates start from 6th November.
