Based on my calculations from the available stats, about 4 in 10 will be invited to interview and about 2 in 10 will be accepted.

So what you probably mean is 2 of every 10 applicants will be accepted, or half of all those interviewed :) Gives us all good odds :)

Dinged here. Kinda disappointed but a little relieved since I'm not sure I wanted to do another two years at UChicago.

Hoping to hear good news from Fisher in the next week to at least take some pressure off from my other R1 options...

Invited! My coworker used to be on the admissions committee and says it's about a 50% cut at this point, so that jives with what other people are reading.

Jerseyny,

I was able to login and select off-campus interview option. I was asked for my City, State and Pin code. I am assuming that the adcom will now try to find an alumni in my city (Bangalore, India).

Hi guys,
I was denied now in R1 without interview when I was interviewed and waitlisted last year in R3. Does this seem strange only for me? Is anyone in the same situation? Thank you for your comments.

Has anyone scheduled an on-campus interview yet? I thought I scheduled the interview when I logged in to the application, but I haven't received a confirmation that it was scheduled.

I got the invite as well!

GPA: 3.4 at a top UG b-school
GMAT: 760
WE: 4 years in Human Capital consulting

Question: When trying to schedule an on campus interview, after selecting the date and time, I hit the "Respond" button and it just takes me to my application status page and it doesn't appear that my selection was accepted. Is anyone getting confirmation that their selected interview time will work? The "schedule your interview" option is still there and I still have the option of selecting an interview time.

It looks like there is an issue with the scheduling system. I received an email that said their vendor for the scheduling system has been negatively impacted by Hurricane Sandy and that they will email me when the system is available. They indicated that this was specific to REAPPLICANTS. It goes on to say that if you are interested in interviewing on campus (which I am), then you can email them your requested date/time and they can work to try and schedule it for you.

I replied with my request and can update on any responses.

Needless to say, it has been a good morning... INVITE

Thanks! I just noticed "Interview Scheduled" followed by Date/Time in the "Recent Activities" section.
