I submitted my appn on 21st October and the status still remains app submitted.
Last year many people got interview invites within two weeks of submission...seems like they are taking more time this year to review applications

Hi,

Joining this forum just a day before my Tepper Interview. Here is my profile:

GMAT - 750
Round - R1
Work-Ex - 5 Years of work experience in IT. Worked at Accenture in Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence domain for 2.9 years. Currently working at Headstrong - A Genpact Company as a Consultant.
Under-grad - B.E. (Telecommunication Engineering) - VTU Karnataka (First Class with Distinction)
Extra-Curricular - Member of an interactive theater group in Bangalore for the past 2 year. Activities include acting in improvisational theater performances and back-stage volunteer work.
Cultural coordinator at college for 3 consecutive years. Got a special letter of appreciation from college department after passing out of college for showcasing cultural talent and organizing cultural events.

Tomorrow is my interview. I hope I come back to this forum with positive news.

Does anyone know if the Flex Time MBA at Tepper begins only in Aug/September or I can start at another time in year as well?

AVbyT- I just did some research on CMU's website and it looks like classes begin only in fall. FlexTime tuition and financial aid section also states fee for only fall incoming students. I may be wrong though.. best would be to contact the admissions team

I have my interview in 4 days and was wondering if you guys have an idea about how aware is the interviewer of the candidate's profile i.e. is the interview blind or not?

Hey guys, just joined this. I have my interview on Monday.

For those that have interviewed, how and for how long did you respond to that first question, "Tell me about yourself or walk me through your resume?" How specific were you?

It seems like that could be a 5-minute answer, but I would worry about rambling on too long.

I got a mail saying that my app was complete and under review on the 7th. No further notification yet.

Hi guys,
Just got done with the interview couple of hours back. Here are the details I remember:
Mode: Over Skype
Nationality: Indian
Questions:
1) Why MBA/Tepper/now?
2) International experience
3) Any cultural changes faced in working with cross-office team settings
4) Example of issue faced in team work

The questions were slightly more directed towards my profile as I have relatively low work ex. Hope this helps. ATB to others.

On a different note, can someone explain whether Tepper declares results only on the specified date or anytime before that. From what I get from last year forums, it only declares on the specified date but please correct me if I am wrong.
