Interview was pretty standard.

Why Now?
Why Ross?
What clubs would you join?
What other schools did you apply to?
Give three words your boss would use to describe you.
Give an example of a time a team member wasn't pulling their own weight. How did you handle it?
What is a brand that has done a good job over the past 5 years? (I said I wanted to go into brand management)

It was really pretty relaxed and conversational. Interview lasted 30 minutes and there was time at the end to ask questions.

Ok.. as of 11/28/2012 Ross has only interviewed or invited to interview just 42% of the R1 applicants. Last year it was 72% of the applicants in the first round who were interviewed/invited. Its been 2 weeks since the 2nd "final" wave so this is definitely not adding up!

I did not receive an interview call (R1 applicant). Does anyone know if Ross puts students on waitlist without interview as well (apart from the waitlist with interview)?

Are we required to submit a cover letter for this application or is it truly optional.

Just interviewed today on campus. It was very relaxed and conversational. I could tell he was very new to the interview process as he went down a list asking me questions and taking notes for each question. I think I was asked maybe 20 questions in all - nothing surprising if you have been tooling the websites like ClearAdmit that have prior questions posted on there.

All in all, I think it went really well. If you have any questions, let me know, and I'm happy to respond. I'm very familiar with Ann Arbor as well.
