Re: INSEAD September 2013 - Calling All Applicants [#permalink]
Had my first interview today. Interviewer was very pleasant and the interview itself was very conversational. Lasted about an hour and a quarter. Discussed the same questions that have been mentioned here before. What worries me is that I didn't get any hint of whether the interviewer was going to recommend me or not. Fingers crossed. Have the next one coming up shortly.

Had both my interviews this week. One was 50 minutes, one was about 40. I don't see much reason for either to give negative recommendation but the fact that neither told me anything at the end really makes me wonder!

Finished both interview today.
Interviews went fine. Standard questions really - career progression/why MBA/career goal/free time etc. But the short duration of the interviews worries me. Lasted for only 20 and 30 minutes.

The interviews were held at their offices. So I am not sure if were genuinely busy or I just bored them to death :) ... Anyway fingers crossed!

The same thing ! Both my interviews were quite conversational and unstructured. And I didn't get a single vibe/reason for which the interviewers would give a negative recommendation. But neither of them told me that they'd recommend me :| !

Finished both interviews as well.
They both lasted a bit more than 1h. I received immediate positive feedback from the first interviewer. The second interviewer was very friendly but did not say whether he would (or would not) recommend me. When rethinking about the interview, I remember some good things that I said but I also remember stupid things... really don't know how it will end up.
Other question, I see on insead's website that the deadline for round 2 is today. Do you think that they compare round 2 applicants with round 1 applicants about whom they hesitate ?

I don't think they would do that. That totally defeats the purpose of having two different rounds ( but again, that's how I think  )

I submitted the app as well for Round 2. It has been really quite here, I would have expected to see a lot more candidates for Round 2.

I've also applied in R2. Is anyone attending the MBA session in NY this evening?

Apparently we will get a reply the same day as the world is meant to end. Does anyone know at what time is the apocalypse, Fontainebleau time?

Had my second interview yesterday. Went pretty well. Was about 1.5 hours long. Conversational and unstructured - as in the interviewer asked all the usual questions but indirectly. Although no hint/opinion given on whether the person was going to recommend me or not.

Hoping for the best.

Haha good question. Come to think of it, I will actually be in China that day, so I have to remember to wait till the 22nd (China time). The world better not end before I hear my decision.
