Good luck to those selected for interviews!
Thanks Cyber! Are you one of the current students interviewing applicants?
I had my on-campus interview today so I thought I would go ahead and share my experience:
When I arrived to the admissions office, I was asked for my resume and to have a seat in the waiting area where I chatted with a few other applicants who were very friendly. It seemed like there were quite a few students and faculty members conducting interviews throughout the admissions office and career center. My interviewer was an extremely welcoming and down-to-earth first year student who stated right off the bat that the interview would be very casual (which it was) and to feel free to ask any questions that I may have at any point. He then gave me a bit of his own background before jumping into his questions for me. Here are the questions I was asked:
Walk me through your resume.
What are your long term goals?
Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?
Why Marshall?
What is your leadership style?
Tell me about a situation you wish you would have handled differently.
The interviewer then opened up the floor for questions I had for the remainder of the time. The entire process lasted about 45 minutes, half of which involved his questions for me followed by us discussing his experiences in the program so far.
It was a great experience overall, very laid back yet informative. Good luck to all others who have an interview scheduled and feel free to PM me with any questions you may have about my experience.
