INSEAD September 2013 - Calling All Applicants

I got the call as well...starting in singapore!

if everyone is serious about this then i can put together a tentative agenda for may 2013 for a trip.. how many have enthu?

A weird thing happened to me: expected a call but actually got an email (wednesday) saying I was admitted! I start in Fonty and am amazingly happy!

GMAT: 650 > 720
Strategy Consultant for 4.5 years by Sept 2013
Dutch, based in Netherlands with ~3 years of international experience

Someone asked about payment details: this is what my email said: 'Current tuition fees for the graduating classes of 2014 are €59,500. These fees are revised each January for classes graduating the following year and are payable by instalments. To secure your place, you will need to make your first payment by 25 January 2013. This is a non-refundable instalment of €6,000. The INSEAD MBA programme fee for your class is €1,450." Hope it helps.

How's it going for R2 applicants? I'm having trouble concentrating on other deadlines coz of this one, even though I know it comes only towards the end!

Well it's interesting to have an idea of R1's outcome. Looks like India will be (again) well represented!
But you're right, this thread is drawing a lot of my concentration. I can't imagine how it will be around January 18th and ultimately March 1st!

I've heard nothing yet.. From what I gather, I reckon we should have the calls a week or so before Jan 18th... But yes, this wait is taking up most of my time as well....

I got the call yesterday and the email today!! I am in!! Fonty here I come! Super relieved and super excited

Called up Insead and checked the decision of my app.
Admitted. Location Singapore.
Need to wait for the email though..

Got in as well. Thrilled. Still giving myself the rest of the year to decide between INSEAD and Said but leaning towards INSEAD.

Likewise. Its so hard to concentrate on other applications when you have an emotional connection with INSEAD

Waiting eagerly for R2 decisions.

I will also be going with my fiancée (wife by then ), who is not applying for MBAs. We should all keep in touch so that we can share experiences.

Guys. I have a question. Spouses of students are allowed to work in Singapore, right? I was told this was so by the Admissions people at Insead, but I cannot find a link to an official site, mentioning this. Can anyone help?

Partners are allowed to work in Singapore for sure. But not sure what extra visa/work permit will be needed.
I suggest you to wait for MBA connect link. It leads you to a lot of forums of current students and partners who I think are best placed to answer such questions.
