Three Reasons to Choose Hong Kong for your MBA degree

The “postgraduate studies in Hong Kong” has listed out several reasons indicating hong kong is a quite ideal place for higher education (https://www.grad.edu.hk/grad/why-hk.html). How does it really benefit you in getting an MBA?
The reasons given are as

We're quite strong in China business, no matter in terms of industry network or academic support. We have Prof. Joseph Fan, who's dedicated in family business studies in greater China, and the first Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Professor Liu Ming Kang.

The admission requirements state that an applicant should have a recognized bachelor's degree with not lower than second class lower division or B grade.I have a GPA of 7.8 on a scale of 10. And the B grade is for a GPA of 8.0. So, am I NOT ELIGIBLE for applying to CUHK?

I am asking this question is because a GPA of 7.8 is considerably above average for my University.

I have a question regardng the requirements "At least two years of postgraduate full-time work experience (as of July 2014)". The thing is that in 2009 I graduate a college (Specialty - Tax and taxation), then studied at university (2009-31 January, 2013, Specialty Finance and Credit). While studying at the university (during evenings), for a couple of years I occupied full-time positions at an international company and my responsibilities included budgeting and budget controlling. As of July 2014 my postgraduate (post university) full-time work experience will be a year and a half. However, my postgraduate (post college) full-time work experience is more than three years already. The question is, whether my post college full-time work experience might be considered as relevant or not.

Hi Jmurik5, to my understanding as long is full-time work experience it will be counted so just go ahead and apply first.

At least 2 years of postgraduate full-time work experience - This statement is more of a guide and NOT a DIE DIE MUST have. The school look at your overall application which includes work experience, essay, gmat, referral recommendation, undergraduate results (and any other results too), etc...

The reason why I am so concerned with this particular requirement is that two schools have already e-mailed me that due to insufficient postgraduate full-time work experience I am not eligible to their programs. One of the universities is located in Hong Kong.

I personally feel that is not an issue however I shall leave it to the school to officially answer that question.

Where are you located? You might want to join one of the sessions that the school is touring around and meet some of our representatives face-to-face.

I will be glad to participate in such a session if one is held in Moscow.
