Hi,
Does anyone had any news regarding the opening of the waitlist?
I was supposed to open today but I didn't receive any emails or saw any updates on the status page of my application. Is everyone in the same situation??

Thanks in advance

Tobías

Still waiting here, as well. I suppose that we will hear later this week.

Same for me - had to hop on here to check in case they sent me a WL invite on mistake! Seems everybody is in the same boat.

There is now a link to a form...highly inconspicuous...just above the Portfolio link....and no emails!

Got an email on the waitlist just now. Looks like the waitlist enrollment form is up now.

The email I received says under the "Updates, Materials, and Video" section, "We welcome any relevant updates from waitlisted candidates, and will review these updates when evaluating your file during Round 3". I think it should say Round 2 not Round 3. Correct?

Well, unless they plan on stringing us all along for a few extra weeks, I would bet that it is merely a typo.

Although I'm glad that so many here got in off the W/L last year, I must admit that I am nervous seeing so many names on the list at the moment. Especially since I see a couple W/L and both Booth and Kellogg, like me.

Anyone working on their 90 second video? Really not sure what we need to make it about.

Wow, I nearly missed the bus. I am also waitlisted. The video, just like the powerpoint is optional so if you can nail it then go for it otherwise dont shoot yourself in the foot by sending in a disaster. At this point, I think I will stick to the traditional essays.

I just uploaded a brief (duh) video clip that just briefly states what I bring to Booth. I took a bit of risk in format, and hope that it pays off.

I plan on a brief update letter, as well.

Anybody else made progress on their portfolios?

Are we supposed to submit update letters via the application portfolio or e-mail them to admissions? anybody know what's up here? Perhaps from a current student?

Not sure where the option is to submit an update letter.

The portfolio section is to submit the video and the upload materials section is to submit documents that adcom has have requested. Should we try to submit the letter through the upload material section and keep the dropdown blank?

I would not like to experiment with the app portal and mess up. So any advice from someone who has already uploaded something will be helpful.

Sorry I'm quite late to the discussion, but I'm on the waitlist as well. Here's hoping that all of us make the cut.

To submit an update letter, I think you can just use the Upload Materials section. I'd assume we just use the "Post-Decision Material" correct?

Also, is there a "submit" button or something after we upload, to submit all the uploads (letter, video, etc)?

The update letter should be sent in an email with "Waitlist Material" in the subject line. The video should be uploaded on the website.

I have confirmed this with the Adcom.

I sent an update letter to admissions@ChicagoBooth.edu as the poster above described, and was sent back an email telling me to upload it on my online profile through the "Post-Decision Materials" category -- so it seems we're supposed to do the latter. Hope this helps clear up confusion for people sending in materials.

I spoke to Gwen at admissions a few weeks ago and she told me to update it via "Post-Decision Materials" as well. So in summary, I had an additional letter of Rec sent to an adcom, uploaded my update letter through "Post-Decision Materials" and uploaded my video through "Edit Portfolio." Hope this helps. Goodluck!
