I am changing jobs, so I had plenty of time to study. I started with Verbal. Finished Manhattan SC, Thursdays with Ron and CR Bible in a couple of weeks. Then did 20 questions each in SC, CR and RC everyday. This i continued to do for the rest of my preparation. I followed the same strategy for Quant. Finished theory in 2 weeks, then solved 40 questions for a couple of weeks. The last month before the exam, I continued to solve verbal questions, revised theory and gave GMATClub tests.

Thank you for the reply ;)

By the way, did you use the GMATPrep documents on SC and CR (by Whiplash) before or after your first GMAT prep test?
Since they contain a lot of GMAT test prep questions.

Congrats Harsh..
I am struggling with manhattan cat quant.. u said it right.. they are calculation intensive..
I got only 44 in my latest manhattan cat ..

guess I should now try the gmatprep

did u also solve questions from gmatprep as a part of your preparation?

Yes Sachin I did... You can also buy Prep Question Pack 1 from mba.com... It has latest Quant questions from GMATPrep... I found these questions slightly more difficult than other official Quant questions...

do you think it will help solving gmat prep questions?

or is it sufficient if we do only the OG 12, 13 and Quant Review if the goal is to reach 47-49?

how much were you scoring in manhattan cat quant?

I was scoring 45-47 on Manhattan Gmat Quant... Have you taken any official tests from mba.com? How much did you score on quant? I don't think doing only OG and GMATPrep questions will be sufficient for a 49 (they should be sufficient for 47,48)...

game, set, match and cup :)

If I understand correctly you scored an average of 30 points less on the mgmat simulations then on the real test, is that right?

There is a massive difference between MGMAT and GMAT... The 710 and 740 were in the third and fourth weeks of my preparation, whereas the MGMAT scores were toward the end of my preparation... My MGMAT scores would have been even poorer initially then...

Hey harshkhemka88, thank you so much for your debrief and for attaching some practice questions on CR and SC!! I was just wondering, where can I find the right answers to those questions to check my answers?
