On admissions blog they posted that international applicants are expected to receive invitations in early Feb, and this seems like confirmed by posts here, as all those who got invites are in the US.

How many folks got the mail saying -

'We understand that you applied to Darden's full-time MBA. However, in our review of your application, the Admissions Committee has determined that we see a stronger fit for you with Darden's Executive MBA formats. I am writing to you today to invite you to interview for Darden's MBA for Executives or Global MBA for Executives. We are excited to offer you this opportunity. While you will not be offered an interview for our full-time MBA format, this invitation to interview for our Executive MBA formats is being extended only to a very small number of applicants.'

Has anyone denied this interview?? What is the adcoms response on denying the EMBA option??

What have most of you done??

The funny thing is, for Darden I am avg age but for other programs I am older haha. Unfortunately, if you get this notice, you are being dinged for FT program. If you are okay with waiting, reapply. I did. I heard Darden loves reapplicants and that is directly from the person who gave me feedback on my application.

How do you go ask for feedback? Do you email or call to the admissions? After round three ends?
I am 30 and have 6 yrs experience plus a master degree. Came from China, so doing a master was the only way to come and stay in the U.S. I am on the older end for any MBA, but I won't say I have enough experience for EMBA. Anyway, it's definitely a sad news as I like Darden's case method a lot. :(

Don't stress. I am older :). I believe I just replied to the email that I was not interested, and that I planned to reapply next year (this year now). I asked them for feedback and they said they would gladly schedule it in may or june after they have closed admissions. I attached a link to last year's info on feedback.

I got a ft interview invite as well so I was just curious. Congrats on the interview this year though and best of luck!

Anyone know what percent of those interviewed are accepted?

My gmat was in the 500s. Schools always say that its a hollistic view but that's not true. In the feedback they clearly said, get atleast a 600 and you'll get a second look. Get a 650+ and you should have a solid chance. I was also recommended to take stats and econ to strengthen my quant side.

Sigh, who knows, I just sent them an email to turn down the offer. I don't want to settle for EMBA, no matter how much they say it's very similar to the full time experience, I just don't buy it. Being exposed to the Darden community is a big part of the MBA experience I am looking for, for any MBA program actually. Well, now it's time to move on, I guess.
