I think no international applicant has reported the interview invite for R2 so far. May be Adcoms are still busy finalizing the domestic ones.

No my husband's been invited to interview, and we are based in Canada.

:) May be your husband is 730+ gmat scorer. And I think the adcoms are covering the applications geographically and could have put Canada under same frame. I didnt see any one from Asia.

Yeah he's a 730er. As for interviews, I know a person based in China who got admitted in R2 already (she has 750 GMAT). So their first batch of interview invites is probably random (or the less likely: based on GMAT scores).

I m in! Received the acceptance mail on 23rd Jan....Recent curriculum upgrade, early start for interview prep, stellar location and extreme improvement in employment stats for the big 4 consulting makes it my 2nd best choice after Stan....

Can you share any info you have on Big4 consulting employment stats? As I see it this is actually the biggest weakness relative to the other programs I am looking at, as I want to head into consulting for a period after school. I have seen great hiring stats @ Deloitte, but not much at all @ M/B/B, so any data that proves me wrong would definitely help the Anderson case for me, and I would love that to happen.

Cheers

Douglas, McKinsey and BCG show up in the employment data as recruiters. They may not recruit a ton at Anderson, but I guarantee you can get an interview through your own networking. Heck, I know a senior partner at BCG and could probably get you an interview!

May be higher gmat scorers are being filtered. Another important thing is the rolling admission. Since the china applicant already got her admission, may be she had submitted quite early in R2. I did on the last day. :P Lets see how it goes !!

I have seen some McKinsey, but very little B/B and that is what concerned me some. It seems as though they just don't take near as many Anderson grads. Sloan, GSB, Booth, and similar schools seem to have close to 20+ grads at each company, while Anderson didn't have 20+ at either of the 3. And I know those schools are on a different level, but I was surprised by the drastic difference; however, I suppose it is easier to stand out @ Anderson than at those schools. I will just have to roll with the waitlist and see what happens before I make any final decisions.

Thanks

Let's just say that many people at Anderson really want to live in California --- thus you are really competing for those positions in LA and San Francisco (more LA than San Francisco).

If you are willing to live and work outside of California, the chance likely goes up dramatically. That being said, it sounds like you are looking at Anderson as a backup anyway.

First group of interview invites went out about a week after the submission deadline, with the option to interview between Jan 22nd to Jan 31st. I know someone who got her offer already (and yes this is for R2).

May be 1st week of feb will be crucial for second batch of interview invites. I think UCLA is still busy inviting high gmat and domestic applicants.
