Dear Linda,
I am a technology student from a leading apparel industry college of my country. My GMAT score is 700 and GPA is 3.4
I won a Gold Medal for excellence in a Cyber Olympiad and an all country rank of 71.
I got selected for a Leadership Program in Harvard and some other schools because of my SAT Score earlier.
Also, I was selected for a scholarship program to pursue an entire semester in France. I worked there as part of the team of English Tutors to International Students.
I was appointed a member of the Student Council twice during High School.
I have won numerous awards in debating on various levels and have often been adjudged as the best speaker. I also have won various other literary and dance competitions.
I was also certified by the British Council for excellence in English.
I took training in classical music for 3 years. I have learnt numerous international dance styles and have performed to huge audiences.
My Maths scores have always been above 90%.
Also, I have worked for a leading NGO, constantly.
I assisted in the Placement Committee in the College Recruitment process.
Currently, I am working on developing a business model to facilitate functional garments to Cancer Patients.
Although officially I have no work experience, I have done 3 internships and will be doing two more in the future. I am currently in the 3rd year of undergraduate school.
Can you please tell me what are my chances of getting selected at the HBS 2+2 or Yale Silver Scholars or MIM? How can I improve my Profile and what are the other colleges that accpet students with no work experience?
Thank you.
Do you have a grade point average or percentage -- not just in math, but overall?
I'm not optimistic about your chances at HBS 2+2 or Yale Silver Scholars program. I'm not sure you academics, specifically your GMAT are competitive and I don't see the kinds of internships that accepted applicants to these programs usually have. I do think you would be more competitive at Duke MS in management or at similar programs at Rochester Simon or Wake Forest.
