Congrats on the interview! Seems like the timing for Consortium applicants must not be as closely aligned to regular R2 applicants as I originally thought. R2 applicants have been receiving their admissions calls all week. Since the Consortium Round 2 applicants were told that we'd hear "next steps" by 2/15, I guess I always assumed that would be an admit decision.

Isn't all of the conjecture a (not) fun way to pass the time?!?

Hi Cinder -- a lot of Consortium Applicants are interviewing on the Feb 23 Diversity Day. It might be last minute, but I still think there is hope that you get invited to this event (since that is still a week and a half away). If you are concerned, it never hurts to politely check-in (without being too pushy) -- maybe pose it as "is there any additional info that would be helpful to provide?". There are likely apps get lost in the mix from time to time.


@Cinder: The invite asked Consortium applicants who couldn't attend the Stern Perspectives day to interview by Feb. 28. They have an online scheduling system, so I think it's worth keeping hope alive until as late as Feb. 26/27 - I interviewed two days after my invite.

Work Experience: 3.5 years in tech consulting
College: 3.5 GPA in engineering from top state school
GMAT: 690
Demographics: Hispanic Female

As a note, I ranked UT 3rd (out of 3).

Just got USC interview invite today, was sure I was dinged based off of their previous email saying they would know by mid-February.

Ditto on USC. Short notice for a short window. They do all interviews from feb 19 to 28 and prefer on campus? I'll have to do the Skype option regardless.

R2 applicant - Finally heard from Goizueta today with a strange email stating that I was missing info in my application. When I logged in it said that I needed to complete an interview, which I actually already did before I applied.

Got an e-mail from Goizueta a few minutes ago to let me know they've received my application. I was instructed to obtain my NetworkID for OPUS, but when I tried to request it, it said that my Social Security wasn't on file.

Same issue for anyone else? The e-mail said it may take up to 2 business day after "application submittion" so I guess I'll just wait it out till Monday...

Same thing happened to me when I tried to use my social, so I just selected the option that I didn't have a social security number and it asked for my email address instead. I was then able to log in.

I got the same email today and I am having the same exact problem as you trying to log in.

I was having the same problem logging in with my social security number so I tried using my email and it worked.

Did anyone just get an email from Mccombs today about the Consortium application being imported into the McCombs and University of Texas systems over the coming week? So they have not even looked at my application yet? Or is this a precursor to a ding?
