Hello,
I had completed practicing verbal questions from both
OG 12 and Verbal Review Supplement 2nd edition once. I answered around 65% of all the verbal questions correctly. I studied from Manhattan strategy guides before solving questions. I also looked for explanations for the questions that I answered incorrectly and recorded in my
error log where I made mistakes. Now that I am finished with this stuff, what to do next to improve my accuracy in answering questions correctly?
Kindly help me out!
Make a grid. See the question types where you are making mistakes consistently. Mark the accuracy in each section. Identify the section that is your strength and the section which is your weakness. For example sentence correction may be your strength where the accuracy is 90% and RC may be the weakest where the accuracy may be only a 50%.Work more on your weak area. Also in each section categorise the question types according to your own personal order of difficulty. For instance in the CR section you may find the assumption question to be the most difficult and strengthen ones to be the easiest. Make a map for each section in a similar way and try to master the techniques for answering a particular type of question. If you are done with
OG 12 move on to OG13. Also try the drills from
Manhattan books. It is important to try all the questions of
OG 12 and OG13 twice if you are targeting a 700+ on the GMAT.
