The Consortium doesn't give money, the schools do. You can receive a "Consortium Fellowship" from only one of your ranked schools.

Yes, as long as you are accepted as a member of the consortium and choose to go to a Consortium school that you've applied to (even if you don't chose the school who gave you the Consortium Fellowship) you will still have access to the Consortium network. However, if you are accepted as a member and decided to go to a school outside of your Consortium application (ie-Havard, Wharton, etc), you will not have access to the Consortium network

I was told that membership and fellowship decisions would be mailed out. I assume that it would be regular mail.

I just got my UNC call while on vacation. I got in with the Consortium Fellowship. My profile name fits my current mood perfectly! Hahaha. Now to scroll up and see all the other wonderful posts. We made it!!!!

Pretty similar boats, I got a Stern full-tuition (not quite as sweet as a full-ride), and am waiting for Columbia. May I ask why you pref'd NYU over Yale?

If you get into Columbia, will that be an automatic no to Stern?

Yea, full-ride is equal to full-tuition in my mind....Consortium fellowships only cover tuition and mandatory expenses.

"Full-ride" scholarships differ from "Full-tuition" scholarships in that "Full-Rides" include books, room and board, and sometimes 'supplies'... our Consortium Fellowships, being "full-tuition" cover only tuition and mandatory fees although I'm curious as to how they define "mandatory"... for example... health insurance is a mandatory fee unless you already have comparable insurance. Does the fellowship cover that? Hopefully such specifics will be addressed in the snail-mail coming next week...
